Where: Nationals Park, Washington
When: 4:05 p.m.
TV; radio: SPSO; 680, 93.7, 106.7
Probable starting pitchers: Braves RH Matt Wisler (1-0, 1.13) vs. RH Doug Fister (2-3, 4.80)
What's new: Wisler used a mid-90s fastball and a four-pitch repertoire to break into the major leagues with eight dominant innings in his debut last time out against the Mets. He looked every bit the Braves' No. 1 prospect that he is billed to be, allowing only one run on six hits and walking none. Now is his chance to show his poise in his first road start. When the Braves lost the series opener on Tuesday, it was the eighth loss in the Braves' previous nine games in Washington since the start of the 2014 season. Jace Peterson hit safely in 13 of his first 16 games back after receiving a cortisone shot in his left thumb June 4, batting .328 (20-for-61) over that time with eight doubles, eight runs and a home run.
