The Chicago Cubs won their first World Series championship in 108 years. While Cubs fans hugged with delight, there was only despair in Cleveland, which was trying to win its first crown since 1948.

And how sad it was.

The Indians lost the last two games at home. They now have gone longer than anyone without a crown.

Despite the Cubs' championship having a Braves flavor to it, Atlanta fans can empathize with Cleveland's miserable feeling of coming so close to glory.
