DENVER – Braves second baseman Jace Peterson continued his remarkable bases-loaded success Thursday with a two-run double that left him 8-for-12 with two doubles, a triple, a homer and a majors-leading 20 RBIs when batting with the bases full.

Before Friday, no other major leaguer had more than 13 RBIs in bases-loaded situations this season, and Peterson’s 20 RBIs were the most by a Brave since Dan Uggla had 22 in bases-loaded situations in 2012. Brian McCann’s 26 RBIs in bases-loaded situations in 2007 were the most by a Brave since at least 1974.
