Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies became the fifth player in MLB history to hit four grand slams before his 23rd birthday with his blast Saturday night.

Albies put an 0-2 pitch into the left-field seats in the third inning Saturday, helping the Braves to a 15-7 series-clinching win in Philadelphia. He joined Hall of Famers Ken Griffey Jr., Eddie Mathews and Ted Williams, along with present-day All-Star Giancarlo Stanton, as players to have four grand slams at age 22.

Only Stanton achieved the feat at a younger age than Albies (by six days). Albies has been in the majors since August 2017 and earned an All-Star nod in his first full season (2018).

Albies is already tied for ninth-most grand slams in franchise history, sitting equal with Jeff Blauser, Orlando Cepeda, Del Crandall, Hugh Duffy, Sid Gordon, Andruw Jones, Dale Murphy and Bobby Thomson.

Overall, the Braves have four grand slams this season, the same amount they produced in 2017 and 2018. One more bases-loaded blast would make for their most since hitting seven in 2010.
