Where: Fenway Park, Boston

When: 7:10 p.m.

TV/Radio: SPSO/680, 93.7, 106.7

Probable starting pitchers: Braves RH Williams Perez (2-0, 2.70) vs. RH Rick Porcello (4-6, 5.26)

What's new: The Braves are looking for some redemption after getting swept in four games by the Red Sox last year, two in Boston then two in Atlanta. They've got a similar set-up this year, only they open with two games at Fenway Park then come back to Atlanta for two. The Braves have lost five consecutive series at Fenway Park dating back through 2005. This is after the Braves won their first five series at Fenway beginning with the advent of interleague play in 1997. It'll be a homecoming for outfielder Jonny Gomes, who played for the Red Sox in 2013 and 2014, winning a World Series title in 2013. The Red Sox traded Gomes along with Jon Lester to Oakland at last year's July 31 deadline for Yoenis Cespedes. A.J. Pierzyski played 72 games with Boston last year as well, hitting .254, before he was released July 16.
