Kris Medlen, Lane Adams stand out in Gwinnett Braves’ win

Lane Adams hit two homers and drove in four runs as the Gwinnett Braves beat the Indianapolis Indians 9-3 on Friday night in Lawrenceville.

Other highlights from the game:

Gwinnett starter Kris Medlen pitched five innings, allowing two unearned runs and six hits. He struck out four and walked one but did not get a decision. His ERA stands at 5.15.

Gwinnett’s Ronald Acuna went 2-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI. He’s hitting .250.

The Braves’ Ozzie Albies was 1-for-5 and is hitting .288.

Former Brave Joey Terdoslavich pinch-hit for Indianapolis but struck out.

Gwinnett (48-49) snapped a five-game losing streak. Indianapolis is 54-44.
