How the winning run scored: Steve Susdorf's two-out single in the bottom of the eighth inning drove home Jermaine Mitchell and Pete Orr and gave Lehigh Valley a 10-6 lead over the Gwinnett Braves on Saturday night, the G-Braves' third consecutive loss.

At the plate: Ernesto Mejia (4-for-5) had a home run, three doubles and three RBIs for the G-Braves. Tyler Pastornicky (home run, two RBIs) and Joe Leonard (two triples) each was 3-for-5, and Matt Pagnozzi was 2-for-5 with two RBIs.

On the mound: G-Braves starter Omar Poveda lasted only five innings, allowing four runs on six hits. He walked two, hit a batter and struck out three. Reliever Juan Cedeno (0-1) allowed three runs on three hits and three walks in two-thirds of an inning, and Pat Egan gave up three runs on three hits in one inning.

Up next for Gwinnett: The G-Braves (24-33) and the IronPigs (26-29) meet for the third game of their four-game series at 1:35 p.m. Sunday in Allentown, Pa.
