The Norfolk Tides (1-3) rallied for six runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, capturing a come-from-behind 9-4 win over the Gwinnett Braves (3-1) on Sunday afternoon in the finale of the four-game series at Harbor Park.

After falling behind 2-0 to the Tides in the bottom of the third inning, Gwinnett surged ahead with a four-run top of the fourth against Norfolk starter Terry Doyle. Daniel Castro laced a one-out single to center and moved to third on a double by Tyler Moore. Ryan Lavarnway dropped a single into left, scoring both Castro and Moore to knot the game at 2-2. A double to left by Rio Ruiz put runners again on second and third, and Sean Kazmar Jr. cleared the bases with a double to left, sending the G-Braves ahead 4-2.

Norfolk cut the lead to 4-3 with a run in the bottom of the fourth against reliever Danny Burawa. With the bases loaded and none out, former G-Brave Joey Terdoslavich grounded into a 6-4-3 double play to score the run. The Tide added three more in the seventh to seal the win.

Tyrell Jenkins made his first start of the year for Gwinnett and worked 3 innings with two earned runs on three hits, five walks and four strikeouts. Burawa went 2.0 innings with one hit, one earned run, three walks and one strikeout. Ian Krol entered the game in the seventh and pitched 1 inning with two hits, two earned runs and one strikeout.  He earned the loss.
