Where: Turner Field

When: 7:35 p.m.

TV/Radio: FSSO/680, 93.7, 106.7

Probable starting pitchers: Braves TBA vs. RH Jacob deGrom (7-4, 2.33)

What's new: Freddie Freeman is hoping to return to the Braves' lineup tonight after taking Thursday off to let a cortisone shot take effect in his sprained right wrist. Freeman had been leading the majors with 234 consecutive games played before Thursday. He first hurt the wrist on a swing last Saturday in New York on a night when he homered off deGrom. The Braves get the dynamic end of the Mets rotation, starting with deGrom, then back-to-back power arms in Syndergaard and Harvey. Jace Peterson was hitting .329 (25-for-76) in his previous 18 games entering Thursday, having hit safely in 16 of them, with seven doubles, two triples, a home run and 10 RBIs.
