The annual Braves Country Caravan starts Jan. 21 in Newnan with a 3:30-5 p.m. autograph session at Academy Sports + Outdoors, and ends Feb. 1 with similar stops at two Academy locations in the greater Atlanta area.
The caravan includes 11 scheduled autograph sessions at Academy Sports + Outdoor locations in four states, and community appearances at children’s hospitals, schools and military bases. The Braves will announce later the names of players, coaches, alumni, broadcasters and front-office official scheduled to appear at each stop.
Other autograph sessions are set for Academy Sports + Outdoor locations in Greenville, S.C. (Jan 22); Snellville (Jan. 24), Juliet, Tenn. (Jan. 25); West Madison, Ala. (Jan. 26); Aiken, S.C. (Jan. 27); Birmingham (Jan. 29); Hixson, Tenn. (Jan. 30); Macon (Jan. 31), Hiram (Feb. 1) and McDonough (Feb. 1).
All autograph sessions are at 3:30-5 p.m. local time except West Madison (4-5:30 p.m. CST), Birmingham (4-5:30 p.m. CST), Macon (4-5:30 p.m.), and Hiram (11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.).
