How the winning run scored: With no outs in the seventh inning, a single by Mike Fontenot of Durham drove home Leslie Anderson to give the Bulls a 7-4 lead.

At the plate: The teams combined for 16 runs on 27 hits. Joey Terdoslavich (3-f0r-5, including a triple) and Sean Kazmar (2-for-4, including a double) each drove in two runs for the G-Braves. Alden Carrithers, Todd Cunningham and Tyler Pastornicky had two hits apiece. Ernesto Mejia hit his fourth home run. Durham's Anderson (3-for-4, 3 runs) and Jason Bourgeois (3-for-3) each had four RBIs.

On the mound: G-Braves starter Sean Gilmartin lasted four innings, allowing three runs on five hits. He walked five and struck out two. David Carpenter (0-1) relieved Gilmartin and gave up three runs on six hits in two innings. Yohan Flande allowed four runs on three hits in one inning.

Up next for Gwinnett: The G-Braves (4-3) begin a series at the Charlotte Knights at 7:15 p.m. Thursday. David Hale (1-0, 3.60) will start for Gwinnett.
