In the news: Outfielder Desmond Jennings finished his minor league rehabilitation assignment Sunday (3-for-21 in seven games) though the Rays were not certain they would activate him for Tuesday's game against the Braves. Kiermaier, the Rays' center fielder, had to leave Sunday's game with a jammed right thumb but with the off day Monday was expected back in the Rays lineup Tuesday against the Braves.
