The Braves outrighted left-handed relief pitcher Sam Freeman to Triple-A Gwinnett, the team announced Thursday.
The move gives the Braves 38 players in major league camp and 39 players on the 40-man roster.
Freeman has spent the past two seasons with the Braves. He was 3-5 with 4.29 ERA in 63 games last season.
