The Braves have agreed to terms with right fielder Jason Heyward on a two-year contract, and will avoid salary arbitration. The deal runs through the 2015 season.

Braves Executive Vice President and General Manager Frank Wren said, “Jason is an important part of our organization and we’re glad that we were able to agree on a multi-year contract.”

The Braves now have two remaining players on their 40-man roster who are still in the arbitration process for the upcoming season – closer Craig Kimbrel and first baseman Freddie Freeman.
