Braves shortstop Erick Aybar left Friday night’s game with a leg injury.
In the fourth inning, Aybar was hit by a pitch from Miami Marlins pitcher Adam Conley. The pitch hit the inside leg of Aybar and he went down to the ground.
Aybar was able to stay in the game briefly. He advanced to second base but started to move gingerly between innings. After bending over to his side, he walked to the Braves’ dugout.
Infielder Daniel Castro came into the game at shortstop to replace him.
