Braves Hall of Fame manager Bobby Cox loves what he’s seen from second baseman Ozzie Albies, so much that he compared him with last year’s league MVP.

Speaking with the media before Tuesday’s Future Stars game at SunTrust Park, Cox professed his belief in Albies’ potential, likening him to Astros star Jose Altuve.

“He’s going to be a dynamic little guy,” Cox said of the 21-year-old. “He’s going to hit 15-to-20 homers in my mind. He hit four in the spring, something like that. … He’s a strong kid. He’s not a big, tall guy, but boy, he’s packaged like the little guy in Houston. Dynamic defensive player. Can steal bases, take the extra base. It wouldn’t surprise me if he has 50-some extra-base hits this season.”

For the record, Albies is listed at 5-foot-8, 165 pounds, while Altuve is 5-6 and 165.
