Aaron Blair pitched five innings and picked up a win as the Gwinnett Braves beat Buffalo 8-4 Tuesday night in Lawrenceville.

Blair (5-4) allowed three runs on six hits and four walks while striking out three. He gave up two runs in the first and former Atlanta Brave Casey Kotchman led off the fourth with a solo homer off Blair.

Blair has a 4.65 ERA.

Emilio Bonifacio and Mel Rojas Jr. each homered for the G-Braves (58-72), who are a half-game behind Charlotte for first place in the International League's  South Division.

Matt Wisler pitches for Gwinnett Wednesday night.
