Baseball legend Henry Aaron thrilled the crowd at Turner Field Friday night when he walked onto the field in a Braves uniform again and took part in the ceremony removing the number from the outfield wall that signified the number of games left to be played at the ballpark.
Aaron pulled down the number 44, his uniform number, as the countdown reached 43 home games before the Braves move to their new ballpark in Cobb County next season.
Aaron got a standing ovation from fans and players, and his appearance brought many enthusiastic tweets too:
