Atlanta United reveals kit numbers

There were three notables among the Atlanta United kit numbers released Friday by the team, which will play its first friendly this season Saturday at Chattanooga.

First, Thiago Almada elected to change his number to 23 from 8. No reason was provided. Second, no player was assigned No. 7, worn by Josef Martinez the past six seasons. Third, Luiz Araujo will wear No. 10 instead of 19. Marcelino Moreno wore 10 last season.
