Atlanta United recently announced that it has already sold more than 22,000 season tickets, which is believed to be an MLS record for an expansion team.

The team's roster of players is ongoing, but it seems likely there will be an expansion draft to help both Atlanta and Minnesota stock its rosters.

Atlanta will begin training camp in January and its season will start in March. It will play its first three months of games on the road because Mercedes-Benz Stadium isn’t scheduled to be completely constructed until June 2017.
