Atlanta United’s Josef Martinez thanked everyone Tuesday who has reached out to him on social media after he suffered a torn ACL in his right knee in Saturday’s 2-1 win at Nashville.
In his first post on twitter since the injury, Martinez wrote:
Thank you to all who took time to send so many positive and encouraging messages, I read them all and they give me strength in this difficult period. Thanks to my teammates, players around the league, other teams… https://t.co/oTMWtvEg11
