Atlanta United 2, Atlanta United’s affiliate in the USL, will open its inaugural season hosting New York Red Bulls II on March 24 at Coolray Field on Lawrenceville.
The team’s remaining 33 games will be announced next week, according to the league.
Atlanta United is off that weekend, so ATL UTD 2 could feature a strong lineup for its first game.
It may be a coincidence, but Atlanta United played its inaugural game in 2017 hosting New York Red Bulls.
ATL UTD 2 named its coach on Friday, and also learned that it will unsurprisingly play in the Eastern Conference.
