Atlanta United defender Franco Escobar sustained a concussion in Saturday’s 4-1 win against Vancouver at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Escobar’s injury occurred in the second half when he was hit in the head by goalkeeper Brad Guzan, who jumped into a group of players to catch a cross.

Escobar, 23, has three starts for Atlanta United this season. He is in concussion protocol with no timetable on a return. The team will play at Minnesota United on March 31.
