Atlanta United will play at Columbus in the fifth round of the U.S. Open Cup on Tuesday at MAPFRE Stadium.

Atlanta United advanced by defeating Charleston 3-1 on Thursday at Kennesaw State Stadium.

Atlanta United and the Crew have yet to meet in the U.S. Open Cup. They have met five times during the MLS regular season. Atlanta United leads the series 4-1-0. The loss came earlier this season in a game played during a rainstorm in Columbus. The Crew also knocked Atlanta United out of the playoffs in 2017.

The winner of the fifth-round game will advance to the quarterfinals on July 10 to play the winner of the game between Cincinnati and St. Louis. The semifinals are scheduled for Aug. 7 and the championship will be either Aug. 27 or 28.
