Atlanta United midfielder Miguel Almiron posted “I’m back” on Instagram on Monday with a photo that showed him at one of the team’s training fields at its headquarters in Marietta.

Almiron, who has nine goals and 13 assists, has missed the past four games after suffering an injured hamstring in a win against Montreal on Sept. 24.

Atlanta United has gone 1-1-2 without him.

Almiron has been training by himself for the past week. The team will resume training on Wednesday for their final regular-season game against Toronto at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday.

Atlanta United manager Gerardo Martino said on Friday and again after Sunday’s 0-0 draw at New York Red Bulls that it was possible Almiron and midfielder/fullback Chris McCann could return for Sunday’s game. With a win, Atlanta United has a chance to move to second in the East. It trails second-place NYCFC by two points.

Martino hasn’t said if fullback Greg Garza or midfielder/forward Brandon Vazquez will be able to return.

The playoffs start as soon as Oct. 25.
