The three goals scored by Atlanta United in seven minutes against NYCFC on Sunday was the most scored in the least amount of time in MLS this season, according to information provided by the league.

The previous best this season was three scored by Philadelphia in 11 minutes.

Atlanta United’s goals were scored in the 16th minute by Miguel Almiron, the 19th minute by Hector Villalba and the 23rd minute by Almiron.

The fastest three goals ever scored by the same team was done by the MetroStars at Miami in 2000 and took just two minutes. Portland matched that feat at Vancouver in 2013.
