Falcons make four roster moves Saturday

ILB Josh Woods signed to active roster; CB Antonio Hamilton placed on injured reserve

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — With cornerbacks Kevin King (concussion) and Antonio Hamilton Sr. (quadriceps) declared out, the Falcons on Saturday promoted cornerback Lamar Jackson to the game-day roster for Sunday.

Offensive tackle Tyrone Wheatley Jr. also was promoted to the game-day roster.

The Falcons (8-7) are set to play the Commanders (10-5) at 8:20 p.m. Sunday at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland.

Hamilton was placed on injured reserve, and inside linebacker Josh Woods was signed to replace him on the 53-man roster.

Woods has spent the season on the practice squad and was promoted for games against the Bucs (Week 5), Chargers (Week 13) and Raiders (Week 15).
