FLOWERY BRANCH -- Falcons nickel back Isaiah Oliver appeared to suffer a serious knee injury during the second quarter of the 34-30 loss to the Washington Football Team on Sunday.

Also, safety Erik Harris (calf) and punter Cam Nizialek (right hamstring) were injured and did not return to the game. Kicker Younghoe Koo finished the game as a punter. The Falcons are set to sign punter Dustin Colquitt from their practice squad to the 53-man roster.

Second-year safety Jaylinn Hawkins finished the game for Harris.

“There is nothing final on those,” Falcons coach Arthur Smith said Monday. “They met with the doctors today. Again, we’ll have those updates by Wednesday. Until I hear from the doctors, I don’t get concerned.”

Washington running back J.D. McKissic laid a hard block on Oliver, who was blitzing from the slot. He left the field on a cart.

Defensive tackle Marlon Davison (ankle) and wide receiver Russell Gage (ankle) were out against Washington. Gage is farther along in his recovery and could return for the Jets’ game in London.
