FLOWERY BRANCH -- Falcons wide receiver Russell Gage (ankle) and defensive tackle Marlon Davidson (ankle) were declared out for Sunday’s game against the Washington Football Team, which is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

“We have tons of options,” Falcons coach Arthur Smith said Friday. “We’ll decide tomorrow what is the best thing for the game plan with how many (defensive) linemen we think we need and/or combination of outside linebackers. The good thing is that we do have options. We have some guys that are doing a really good job on the practice squad.”

Cornerback A.J. Terrell has cleared the NFL’s concussion protocol and is set to return after missing one game.

Terrell, safety Erik Harris (back), offensive guard Colby Gossett (illness) and wide receiver Frank Darby (calf) were limited in practice Wednesday. They fully participated in practice Thursday and Friday.

Olamide Zaccheaus took over for Gage against the Giants. Smith said the team had options for replacing Davidson in the defensive line rotation.
