The Atlanta Dream announced the signing of guard Darxia Morris on Monday.

Morris was signed to a Training Camp contract with the Dream in February, but was cut before the regular season began.

Morris’ most recent playing experience was with Los Angeles Sparks in 2014. Morris signed a free agent contract and played in four games.

“Darxia is a scoring point guard that has ability to stretch the defense and is a facilitator that can create shots for her teammates,” associate head coach Karleen Thompson said. “She is strong defensive presence at the guard position.”

The 5-foot-8 guard played four seasons at UCLA averaging  12.2 points, 2.5 assists and 1.8 steals in her senior season in 2011.
