One of Georgia Tech’s top offensive players was added to its lengthy injury list Wednesday.

Justice Haynes, the Jackets’ leading rusher this season, was listed as doubtful with an undisclosed injury on the initial ACC availability report ahead of Saturday’s game at Virginia Tech.

Haynes, a senior transfer from Michigan, has rushed for 462 yards and scored five total touchdowns in five games this season.

The Jackets have played much of the season without multiple starters and key contributors.

Several, including defensive end Jordan Walker, cornerback Daiquan White and offensive tackle Ethan Mackenny, will again be sidelined this weekend.

Senior linebacker and captain Kyle Efford announced this week that he was retiring from football after injuries, including a long-standing shoulder issue, took a toll on his body.

Jackets coach Brent Key is scheduled to meet with the media Thursday.
