The Atlanta Pride Festival is back for its 45th year, bringing a calendar full of events and participants to Piedmont Park.
The festival is free and easily accessible by both the Midtown and Arts Center stations. Here's what else you need to know about the weekend:

• Parking is recommended at the Sage Parking Deck, Colony Square and Grady High School
• Baby-changing stations are located at portable restroom areas throughout Piedmont Park.
• Ear protection is recommended for children near the stages.
• Family-friendly events for the weekend include a family zone near the park, open from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday; the Campus Pride College Fair from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday; and the youth liberation space for queer and trans people (ages 14-25), open Saturday and Sunday
Know before you go
• Alcoholic drinks will be sold but they must remain onsite
• Bringing in drinks, food and coolers is discouraged, as the onsite beverage booth revenue supports the festival
• Glass bottles are prohibited
• Grills are prohibited
• Smoking is prohibited
• Use of bicycles, skateboards, skooters, roller blades and vehicles on the grounds is prohibited
• Pets are prohibited and their owners will be subject to ticketing by Atlanta police
• Lawn chairs and umbrellas are encouraged, but tents, though allowed in specific areas, cannot be staked
