Barbara Pinkney was arrested the day after Christmas and charged with resisting an officer and battery on an officer, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
Pinkney opened her door about 7:30 p.m. and was greeted by deputies searching for her grandson Tevin Turner, according to a report by WFLA.
Deputies told Pinkney that Turner was under arrest after he violated probation by carrying a concealed weapon, WFLA reported.
Turner was arrested in 2018 for the sale and possession of marijuana and carrying an unlicensed firearm, MCSO records show.

Turner had written Pinkney's address as his place of residence, but Pinkney told deputies Turner wasn't living there, WFLA reported.
Deputies entered Pinkney's home without Pinkney's permission. Video shot by Pinkney's grandson's wife shows a deputy grabbing her by the wrist. She was then tased three times, WFLA reported.
A deputy then held her to the ground using their knee.
Deputies did not find Turner in the house but suggested he may have escaped the rear of the home during Pinkney's arrest.
Pinkney was taken to Manatee County Jail but bonded out on $1,000, MCSO records show.
Her court date was set for Jan. 17.
