11-year-old boy critically injured after car hits him
A boy was in critical condition after being hit by a car in Lithonia.
An 11-year-old boy was critically injured after a car hit him over the weekend, DeKalb police officials said.
The child was hit Saturday afternoon in the 3000 block of Fields Drive in Lithonia, Channel 2 Action News reported.
He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police, according to the news station.
DeKalb police spokesman J.D. Spencer said the investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed.
