Lions were licking water off of their tents.

While safely inside the tent, tourist Francie Lubbe recorded the lionesses.

"What an experience. We woke up to hear a noise outside the tent," Lubbe said in a YouTube video caption. "Upon investigation, we found three lionesses outside the tent. The only thing that separated us from them was the net."

USA Today reported that the May 9th video captures two lionesses just outside of the tent, licking the mesh screen.

Lubbe, who also shared several photos of the encounter on Facebook, said it was a privilege to see the lionesses.
