Soap is the go-to item when you want to wash the germs away. But some aren’t as effective as you may think.

While they do kill a wide range of bacteria, FDA research shows that this could contribute to the production of superbugs, which are resistant to forms of antibiotic treatment.

The resistance could be passed along, creating even more new untreatable microbes.
