Summer isn’t complete without a nice, cold treat to help you cool off. Luckily, there’s a lot to choose from with ice cream, gelato and sorbet as yummy options.

But what is the difference between them all?

While ice cream and gelato have some of the same ingredients, such as milk and cream, the only thing all three have in common is sugar.

And out of all of them, ice cream has the most sugar, followed by gelato then sorbet.
