The animated series from Disney is getting a reboot, according to Tommy Davidson, the voice of the character Oscar Proud.

During a recent interview with WhereIsTheBuzz.com, the actor revealed new episodes of the show would be airing on Disney Plus, the company’s upcoming streaming platform.

“‘The Proud Family’ is coming back,” he said. “They told me not to tell nobody.”

Despite Davidson’s comments, Disney has not confirmed the return of the cartoon.

“The Proud Family,” which aired from 2001 to 2005, followed 14-year-old Penny Proud as she navigated her teen years with the help from her family and friends.

Along with Davidson, it also starred Kyla Pratt, Paula Jai Parker, and Cedric the Entertainer.
