The company announced the news this week, revealing that the service will be available through one subscription plan for $4.99 a month. That’s the same price as Spotify’s current student deal.

The joint package will include Spotify Premium, an on-demand music service, and Hulu’s “Limited Commercials” plan, which allows users to stream without much interruption.

"We are proud to announce Spotify as our newest strategic partner," Tim Connolly, head of distribution and partnerships at Hulu, said in a press release. "By bundling our enormous catalogues of content together in a single, highly compelling offer, we're making it easier for people to enjoy all of the TV and music they love, whenever and wherever they want."

The deal is available now for undergraduates in the U.S., and users can access the services through the respective apps.

Existing Spotify subscribers can snag the deal by simply switching their plan inside of the app. As for new users, they can sign up here.

In 2022, Georgia Power projected its winter peak electricity demand would grow by about 400 megawatts by 2031. Since then, Georgia has experienced a boom of data centers, which require a large load of electricty to run, and Georgia Power's recent forecast shows peak demand growing by 20 times the 400-megawatt estimate from just three years ago.
