Bystanders heard a scream as the woman disappeared into the 3-foot wide hole, according to the Huffington Post UK.

London Ambulance Service told the Huffington Post UK that the woman was “shaken, though not seriously injured.” She was taken to a local hospital.

Witnesses say a hole had been spotted in the pavement earlier that day and a makeshift barricade had been set up around it. But the woman reportedly went through the barricade, and that’s when the pavement around the hole gave away.
