A 7.3-magnitude earthquake struck about 105 miles southeast of San Salvador, El Salvador, killing at least one person in San Miguel, according to Bloomberg.
No major damage was reported initially, Usulutan Mayor Francisco Meardi told state-run media.
A tsunami warning was issued for El Salvador's coastline and remains in effect through Tuesday morning, the Weather Channel reported.
