Kate and Will celebrate five royal years of marriage

It's been five years since Kate Middleton got her prince and became Her Royal Highness Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.

The royal couple was married on April 29, 2011 in a lavish wedding at Westminster Abbey.

Since that day, their lives have been documented for all to see, from the moment she stepped out in her wedding gown, to the balcony kiss, and now the couple's two children, future king, Prince George and their daughter Princess Charlotte.

Kensington Palace released a video today highlighting some of the couple's most memorial moments over the past five years.

Recently, a simple photo enthralled the world showing two powerful fathers, holding court with the future king, before his royal bedtime.
