Google is paying homage to France on Day 20 of the 2019 Women's World Cup ahead of the French-USA quarter-final match later this afternoon.

Team USA will have to put up a serious fight to beat a French team that hasn’t lost an international match since February.

According to the Google blog, France's celebratory doodle comes from Paris-based illustrator Aurore Carric.

Google has been featuring World Cup art from female artists in various competing countries across the globe, an effort to “capture the local excitement of the World Cup competition as well as what soccer means to the guest artist personally.”

The search engine previously featured a Team USA doodle on its homepage from artist Roxie Vizcarra, featuring the Statue of Liberty kicking a soccer ball.

The 2019 sporting event will take place in France this year, with the final scheduled for July 7 in Lyon.

Don't miss Team USA vs. France at 3 p.m. ET Friday. The match can be viewed on the Fox Sports channel and app.
