It may be time to bid the home button farewell, because Apple is getting rid of it for its next high-end iPhone, reports say.

The company is removing it to make room for a larger screen, according to a recent article from Bloomberg.
To reach the home screen, users will instead have the ability to navigate with a thin software bar. You can drag it to the middle of the screen to open the phone. And if you’re inside an app, you can activate the multitasking menu to change apps or return to the home screen.
The phone, which could cost up to $1,000, isn't expected to be officially announced until September. In fact, Apple reportedly plans to reveal three: two updated versions of the iPhone 7 and the high-end one, which will have the completely fresh design and full-display screen.
The newer versions are also rumored to have wireless charging and facial recognition. The products may also store a larger battery and feature an all-glass design.
