A Woodstock man died Wednesday morning after crashing his car on I-75 near the Canton Road Connector in Marietta.

Tony Holman, 50, was driving southbound on I-75 when he drove off the interstate and hit the retaining wall at 8:20 a.m., according to Marietta police Chief Dan Flynn. Holman then drove back onto the road and hit an SUV and a tractor trailer.

It is not clear why Holman drove off the road at this time, police said.

Flynn said the other two drivers involved were not hurt in the crash. Holman was taken to Well Star Kennestone Hospital and was pronounced dead.
