A woman pleaded guilty Tuesday to driving under the influence of alcohol when she crashed her car with four children inside in Milton last week..

Marjorie Rose Ryan-Santos, 33, pleaded guilty to one count of DUI and one count of child endangerment, according to Milton court records. She was sentenced to 10 days in jail, but was given credit for the five days she served before she was released Tuesday, records indicate. Her sentence also includes probation, 240 hours of community service, and the suspension of her license.

Ryan-Santos was arrested Thursday on charges of DUI, failure to maintain her lane and four counts of child endangerment, according to an incident report from the Milton Police Department.

The report indicates Ryan-Santos was visibly unsteady while standing and her speech was slurred. She blew a 0.168 on a breath test administered by an Alpharetta police officer at the scene and was taken to the Alpharetta jail, according to the Milton report.

The report does not say what happened to the children, or if there were other adults in the vehicle.

No one was injured in the one-car crash.
