Fulton County police are seeking a description of the hit-and-run vehicle that killed a 39-year-old woman when she was crossing Fulton Industrial Boulevard on Thursday night.
The woman was killed around 8 p.m. when she was struck by an unknown vehicle, Cpl. Kay Lester with Fulton County police said.
Police believe the woman, who was crossing the busy street outside of the crosswalk, was trying to catch a MARTA bus before it moved on, Lester said.
A MARTA bus driver witnessed the killing but “he didn’t see exactly what vehicle struck her,” Lester said.
The death happened near the intersection with Mendel Drive.
