A Canadian woman, who was a Burger King employee for 24 years, is having it her way after winning a lawsuit against the fast-food franchise, the Vancouver Sun reported.

Usha Ram, 55, was awarded $46,000 after a judge determined she was wrongfully terminated over a whopping $1 worth of food, according to the Sun.

Ram said she got approval from the manager to take home food in December 2013. However, the manager claims they only approved a fish sandwich, not for the fries and drink she also took, the Sun reported.

The store wanted her to pay the $1 difference, but after a week they fired her, according to the Sun.

The judge ruled that Janif Mohammed, local franchise owner of the Burger King, had not acted reasonably, the Sun reported.
