The woman who was brutally attacked on the Silver Comet Trail in Paulding County has been discharged from the hospital.

The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Tuesday that Tina Waddell was now recovering at home more than a month after the 42-year-old woman was attacked while walking the popular trail.

Yet, investigators still have no leads on the July 29 attack despite a reward that now totals $23,300.

“We’re still right about the same place we’ve been,” Cpl. Ashley Henson, spokesman for the sheriff’s office, said of the investigation. “We’ve followed up on a couple of things, looked at a few people, and nothing’s panned out thus far. We don’t have any strong suspects. We’re still hoping somebody will come forward and give us that key piece of information.”
