A 25-year-old Cobb County woman was denied bond Tuesday morning for allegedly shooting and killing two men inside a Sandy Springs apartment.

Zusi Aguirre, 25, of Mableton, was arrested last month in Mobile, Ala., and charged with two counts of felony murder, armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, according to police. Her arrest came during a traffic stop several days after the alleged double homicide.

Byron Caceres, 23, of Norcross, and Eulalio “Freddie” Mederos-Vega, 27, of Sandy Springs, were found dead about 6:30 p.m. Sept. 14 inside an apartment in the 200 block of Franklin Road, according to police. Both had been shot. No information has been released regarding what prompted the shooting.

Aguirre was extradited to Georgia and made her first court appearance Tuesday in Fulton County, where she was denied bond. Her next court date is scheduled for Oct. 21.
